Live United 5k Run/Walk

LIVE UNITED 5K RUN/WALK ON APRIL 21, 2018
 
(PARIS, Texas) --  The United Way of Lamar County is proud to announce their first annual Live United 5k Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, April 21st at 8am on the Trail de Paris.
 
Jenny Wilson, Executive Director of the UWLC stated, "We are so excited to be holding our first 5k.  Not only does this promote health, but all the funds raised will benefit our annual Day of Caring.  This year's Day of Caring will be held at the New Hope Center on Saturday, June 9th."
 
Runners and walkers can pre-register for $25 by mailing in a registration form to P.O. Box 1, Paris 75461 or dropping off their registration and payment at the United Way office, located at 2340 Lamar Avenue.  All those who pre-register are guaranteed a t-shirt.  Student registration fee is $10 and registration the day of the race is $30.
 
The 5k is sponsored by TX Oncology as well as Lamar National Bank, Pools & More, eParisExtra.com. and Everett Toyota of Paris.
 
Registration will begin at the Love Civic Center parking lot at 7am.
