Christmas Open House at the Valley of the Caddo Museum & Cultural Center

Theme is Christmas Traditions and our children's crafts are Christmas Poppers and Pomanders. This celebration is in conjunction with the Lamar County Historical Commission.  They have reserved the Depot Chamber Room and will be awarding their "History Maker Award for 2019" at 1 pm.  Roxton City Drug Store and Chaparral Rails to Trails Museum will be co-hosting our Open House and will have a special case featuring a display highlighting seven homes built between 1887 and 1916.  The Lamar County Historical Museum, with a special display from the Sam Bell Maxey House, and Lamar County Genealogical Society will also be open with receptions between 1 - 4 pm.  Guests who visit all the museum stations during the event will be eligible for door prizes provided by ParisTexas.gifts.
